A new walk for a new generation. Meet at 1pm (13:00) in Three Mill Lane, near the House Mill and Tesco (Bromley By Bow).

The Route

"Walk the Olympic Park 2016" will revisit some of the trails from another age (Before Olympics). The walk will start at Three Mills and go along the River Lea Navigation. We will enter the park near the View Tube (Marshgate Lane).

Possible points along the route:

  • View Tube (cafe)
  • Aquatics Centre
  • Timber Lodge (cafe)
  • Velodrome

Leaving the park, we will go past East Marsh and on to Hackney Marshes. The route will then follow the River_Lee_Flood_Relief_Channel. A stop at the Waterworks Centre will end the walk. There are buses to Hackney, etc. The Lea Bridge Station will open for trains to Stratford from Sunday 15th May!
